Photo of the Day: 17

I know you all are screeming "LET US SEE THE HORSES, YOU IDIOT" after yesterday's post, which I meant to use as a clearer introduction to the village to give you some context. But without further ado.... well, actually you already saw them before you started reading this...
My grand introduction failed....

We've already established that I like to play around and try different things each time I go out to take pictures, and at my seaside village in Bulgaria - Emona, there's not shortage of things to photograph. I love cars. I always have, but most of you know that. Especially classic or iconic cars. Hence, it's probably not too surprising that as a kid I was really into HotWheels. They had all sorts of crazy modded cars, and completely fantasy ones, but they also had some true miniature recreations of some of the best cars in automotive history. And, of course, being the little petrolhead obsessive kid that I was (still am?), I started collecting HotWheels. And not just any models that I saw, but only the ones of real-life cars.

Now that it's 2017 already (OMG, whaaaat!?!), I want to officially introduce something I've been wanting to do for a while, and that is to share a photo and its story with you every single day.

To start things off, it seems only appropriate to tell you a little bit more about my fireworks shot...
